The situation in Yemen is a toxic mix of chronic poverty and now political and violent instability.  The escaltion of the month long standoff between the goverment and protestors is putting large swathes of Yemen's already impovrished population in grave danger.  

Islamic Relief has been in Yemen nearly a decade and is working hard with the local partners and staff to ensure that the poorest communities are not left alone in this desperate time.

Islamic Relief staff are already based in the South, West, East, and North of the country, but need your help to provide the following to the affected communities;

·       $190 will shelter a displaced family

·       $350 will provide enough water for an entire community for a week

·       $50 will help provide urgent non food items

·       $$20 will help provide basic life saving hygiene kits
