Islamic Relief Canada launches bike challenge in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the Bosnian Massacre
Islamic Relief Canada (IRC) is launching a campaign to support the Bosnian community that continues to be impacted by the Srebrenica massacre that took place 25 years ago on the 11th of July.
Individuals across Canada will raise money for those impacted by this tragedy and then participate individually in a 25km biking challenge that will take place this Saturday. Due to Covid-19 there will be no official location to start this challenge, instead participants will take part at any location they see fit.
Islamic Relief Canada is a registered charity in Canada and a prominent Muslim NGO which works in more than 30 countries and with people of all backgrounds to provide humanitarian relief and build resilient, prosperous communities.
Islamic Relief has been on the ground in Bosnia for 20 years providing emergency responses like food, medical care, orthopaedic items, sanitary facilities, and clean water.
