Islamic Relief Canada is hosting an event titled “On the Brink of Famine: Emergency Appeal for Yemen” on this coming Friday, November 9, 2018. This event is part of the charity’s emergency appeal to deliver food to the estimated 14 million people in Yemen who are considered to be on the brink of starvation.

The event will begin at 6 PM at Red Rose Convention Centre (1233 Derry Rd E, Mississauga, L5T 1B6). The speakers are Alex Potter, photojournalist and eyewitness to the current crisis in Yemen, and Zaid Al-Rawni, CEO of Islamic Relief Canada.
