June 5th marks the Day of Arafah, one of the holiest days in the Islamic calendar. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:“Fasting the day of Arafah is an expiation for all the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.”

In the Qur'an, Allah (SWT) says:

“Today I have perfected your faith for you, completed My favour upon you, and chosen Islam as your way.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah, 5:3)
