Gift of Stocks & Securities

A smart way to donate and multiply your generosity

Make a Bigger Difference with Stock Giving

You can make your donations go further through a tax-efficient donation of publicly traded shares. Your contribution can help provide food, shelter, clean water, healthcare, and life-saving aid to Muslims across the world while offering meaningful tax benefits to you.

How to Donate Securities

Why Donate Securities Instead of Cash?

When you make an in-kind donation of publicly traded securities, you receive a charitable tax receipt for the full market value of the donation, without incurring any capital gains tax on the appreciated amount.

This means your donation has the power to support more people in need, while reducing the taxes you owe, resulting in a more effective donation, compared to first selling the shares and then donating the proceeds.
