As vaccines roll out here in Canada, we are all anxious to book appointments for ourselves and our loved ones.
It is a blessing to have this option. Yet for those who do not have access, the impact grows even more devastating.
In support of UNICEF, Islamic Relief Canada is helping deliver Covid-19 vaccines to the world’s most poorest countries. We urge you to help us end the pandemic everywhere, quickly and equitably, one vaccine at a time.
Today, you can pay it forward and donate a vaccine to help protect a vulnerable person in Yemen or Palestine.
COVID-19 cases are rising sharply across Yemen as well as in Gaza and the West Bank. These regions do not have enough vaccines to protect their populations, leading to a critical increase in infections and death.
Your donation today will help deliver these life-saving vaccines.
Every life deserves a chance.
In partnership with UNICEF, Islamic Relief Canada is helping deliver Covid-19 vaccines to the world’s poorest countries.
UNICEF is in charge of distributing two billion COVID-19 vaccines procured by the global Covax scheme to 92 of the world’s poorest countries, including Yemen and the Palestinian territories.
However, the current Covax inventory only allows for 12% of the population of the world’s poorest countries to be vaccinated by 2021, unless they are able to raise more funds. This is why we have joined UNICEF to raise funds and do our part to help ensure the equitable distribution of the vaccine.
Vaccinating the entire world against COVID-19 will be one of the largest collective undertakings in human history. But we are up to the challenge to do our part – because we know you are right there with us.
No one will ever be truly safe until everyone is safe.
