For over 10 years, the Syrian people have faced brutal conflict and unimaginable conditions. Thousands of families have been displaced or forced to live in tents without any protection. Orphans who have no safe place to live. When winter hits, their suffering is made worse by the strong winds, heavy rain and freezing temperatures.
The recent earthquake has only made things worse, displacing hundreds of families.
Brotherhood Sports Leagues has partnered up with Islamic Relief to give these families a safe place to live. $4,000 builds a home for a family, a place they can live in for decades. An opportunity for a new way of life.
Your support will reach displaced families who are living in tents and temporary shelters. Your donation will help provide them with permanent homes in a prime location that ensures easy access to water, health facilities and local markets.
Each shelter will measure 50 square meters and is designed to include 2 rooms, a kitchen, and bathroom. This will act as a permanent and safe place to call home for 348 displaced families in Syria.
Islamic Relief started its work in Syria in 2012, establishing a main office in Istanbul and running operations in Aleppo and Idlib, in Northern Syria.
Currently one of the largest charities still operating in Syria, Islamic Relief is also active in several neighbouring countries, where many Syrian refugees rely on our assistance. Every year we help support millions of people affected by the crisis.
