What is Orphan Care?
Orphan care isn’t sponsorship, but it plays a vital role in making sure children and families have the support they need to thrive. When you support our Orphan Care Fund, you are giving:
- Flexibility to provide additional support to sponsored families when new or unexpected needs arise
- Ability to develop projects that address shared needs and benefit multiple families and communities at once
- Allows us to fill critical gaps and invest in solutions that benefit entire communities
Our work is about more than providing support; it is about building a community behind every child.
This work is our sacred Amanah, a trust and responsibility to protect and uplift the most vulnerable while preserving their dignity.

Support reaches those who need it most
Through our Orphan Care Projects, your donation is pooled together to support orphans who are in need of some extra care, assist their mothers and even entire orphan families. For just $25/month, your support is allocated to meet their most essential needs, including:

Orphan Care FAQs
Is Orphan care the same as Orphan Sponsorship?
No. Orphan Sponsorship is a monthly commitment of $90, or $45 through our shared sponsorship option, that directly supports an individual orphan’s basic needs.
Orphan Care donations are pooled to support broader needs, including additional support for sponsored families and projects benefiting multiple children and families. Orphan Care can be given as a one-time or monthly donation. You will not be supporting one orphan directly.
Can my donation be Zakat-eligible?
Yes. You can choose to designate your donation as Zakat when you give. Zakat-designated donations are used only to support Muslim orphans and families who meet Zakat eligibility requirements, in accordance with Zakat guidelines.
